                Sri Lanka has amazing wildlife sanctuaries where you will be provided with an amazing view of mother nature. They are full of fauna and flora and you can experience it. Going on a safari in places like Yala, Minneriya or Udawalawa is an event that should not be missed if you visit Sri Lanka. Actually it will give you a sneak peek into the untouched lives of the forest dwellers and their habitats. It will be an experience of a lifetime.

          In Sri Lanka, you will be able to see different species of mammals as well as birds and reptiles. Large herds of wild elephants from the center of attraction. Among the predatory animals, the leopard steals the limelight. Among the other predatory animals are sloth bears, jackals, and mongooses.

The Yala National Park claims to have one of the highest densities of leopard anywhere in the world.


There are many natural lakes inside this national park. At the same time Wilpattu is the largest and the oldest National Park in Sri Lanka.


 There is a big variety of wildlife around the Minneriya tank. The area was designated as a national park in1997.


A visit to the Uda Walawe National Park will guarantee guests sightings of some magnificent creatures.


This is located in Polonnaruwa district and it is a home for many refugee animals.


Kumana is a paradise of birds. It is located in Ampara dstrict and gateway is at Panama.
